The goal of the China After-Market Division is to ensure the stabilisation and excellence of the daily China business running. We drive the business in a compliant and legal manner. We offer local accounting, controlling, and collection support to the whole entity. We endeavour to cooperate with the local commercial team to build a competitive China team in the market.
Our division target is to support and enable business in the best possible way by providing simple solutions in a complex world. We advise all departments, minimise risks and liability both for AirPlus and our employees, and ensure that our business complies with the manyfold requirements in place.
Our goal is to ensure the sustainable profitability of the company, with a special focus on risk management issues. In the risk area, the focus is currently on stabilisation, automation, and increasing expertise and collaboration as supporting factors for our goals. In the future, we will incorporate the development and use of artificial intelligence and machine learning to better manage the risk-adjusted performance of AirPlus and our customers.

Our platform facilitates the high-pace, high-volume environment required to be a great payment service provider as well as delivering the product innovations AirPlus is known for.
In our Marketing team, the customer is at the centre of what we do. We analyse customer needs and market trends to develop, assess, and improve innovative products that meet the evolving needs of our customers around the world. Strengthened by a powerful ecosystem of partners, we build innovative corporate payment solutions and improve the customer experience at every step of their customer journey. The Sourcing Division promotes the optimum (price-performance ratio/delivery reliability) of goods and services by holistically managing and developing our supplier portfolio for the AirPlus Group. We are business partners of the demand units in order to find optimal, sustainable, and compliant solutions as a challenger and innovator. We use automated and digitalised processes and tools, from the definition of the demand to service delivery.
We want to surprise our customers and add value in order to revolutionise our customer experience. To achieve this, we do everything we can to know our customers’ needs and act on them, we take personal ownership and nurture continuous improvements. We offer them a convenient and meaningful experience, both in a digital as a personal way.
The Internal Audit team supports AirPlus in achieving its business objectives. We are passionate about evaluating and improving our organisation's processes and procedures. Risk management and the implementation of corporate governance are another focus of our interest. We are focused on finding innovative ways to add value to our organisation. Through regular training, attendance at conferences and participation in external working groups, we continually develop our knowledge and skills to provide qualified expertise at all times.
