Smart Receipts in real-time to Visma M2 travel and expense management application
Cardholders gain access to the Smart Receipts service, which makes receipt registration quick and easy – both for the expense reporter and the approver.
Most of the expense information is already pre-filled, so the cardholder can choose whether to report the expenses immediately or later. The purchase transaction appears in the M2 mobile application immediately after a purchase with the AirPlus Corporate company card. If the merchant is part of our receipt partners’ network, ReceiptHero or Storebox, the receipt (eKuitti) also appears immediately in M2 Mobile and is automatically linked to the correct purchase transaction. If the merchant only provides a paper receipt, it is recommended to immediately take a picture of the paper receipt with the M2 Mobile camera and link it directly to the correct purchase transaction.
Direct eKuitti, photographing the receipt, scanning, or copying from email?
Some stores send the receipt directly to the mobile phone, which is then automatically linked to the correct payment transaction. A paper receipt can also be photographed with the M2 mobile application, or if necessary, scanned or copied from an email attachment.
Mobile or browser version?
If the cardholder does not use the M2 mobile application, the transaction and receipt are also visible in the M2 browser version.
Other solutions
Some Finnish government’s organizations use the standard version of Smart Receipts, where the purchase transaction appears in the AirPlus application, and from there the receipt and purchase transaction are transferred to the SAP system with a delay of a couple of days.
