From September 1, Michael Heilmann will be responsible for marketing, product and strategy at AirPlus

Corporate payment specialist AirPlus International has filled its head marketing position: As of September 1, Michael Heilmann will assume the role of Executive Director Marketing. He succeeds Yaël Klein, who left the company at her own request at the end of June.

Michael Heilmann has been working at AirPlus for more than 18 years, taking on several roles in the areas of controlling, public affairs and within the largest transformation project in the company's history, the establishment of a state-of-the-art IT landscape. "Thanks to his in-depth knowledge of our company, its products and the market environment, Michael Heilmann is the ideal person for the position. With his expertise, he will ensure that we successfully implement our corporate strategy by developing and marketing innovative products," says Oliver Wagner, CEO of AirPlus. "In addition, I am pleased that we were able to recruit a homegrown AirPlus talent for the role. Michael's development with us from trainee and dual student to Executive Director Marketing proves the strong prospects AirPlus offers dedicated employees."
